The Steam Yacht Thordis restoration team approached us and asked us to remake some of the wrought iron floors that had corroded. We were given the originals, and made a copy of them, making educated guesses about their actual size shape due to the extent of the corrosion. We had to make the stock by hand from a much larger piece of wrought iron that had been acquired by the team. Making the stock on our power hammer can be seen here. We were also asked to hot rivet a funnel box that had been fabricated elsewhere. This was particularly challenging due to access issues with some of the rivet heads.
