Our client approached us with a porch that had been removed from another location to this house. They felt it never quite fitted, and it was badly damaged by neglect time and (we suspect) children climbing on it. The zinc roof was seriously damaged and was letting in water, and many of the scrolls were bent or twisted. The client asked us to repair the porch, and raise it by 9 inches in an invisible way. We accomplished this by recreating one complete range of panels and adding it to the overall in a sympathetic and traditional way.
